Yaz Jallad- Flash-Y

Whether doing battle with event-listeners or grappling URLs into variables, Yaz Jallad knows that he was put on earth to do one thing: conquer Flash.

Though no one knows the true origin of his awe-inspiring abilities, loyal followers suspect that they are the product of a tragic boyhood accident involving radioactive waste and a Mac computer. Although initially tempted by the dark side, Yaz overcame his demons to become a soldier of code, creating websites for the good, the righteous and the just.

Windy - The-wind-girl-from-Captain-Planet-that-is-who-she-is

When Windy was a tiny person she was a large fan of Captain Planet. She would watch it in the morning, in the evening, in the afternoon, and in the pre-noon. She became so obsessed with Captain Planet, she began to see everyone she knew as a character from the show! Mercy! Now an adult, her emotional issues are numbering in the thousands. While this may be seen as a pity to some, she has transformed her psychologically unstable life into a life of purpose - tormenting the world with her undying desire to redesign everything. Everything.

Christina - Happy Fortune Lucky

Christina Nguyen was a head-strong youth, growing up on the toughstreets of Neo-Vancouver. When she wasn't busy listening to audio books or riding her fluorescent motorcycle, she would sit in restaurants with her MacBook and not order anything. But how could she? She had CSS to write! She made all kinds of websites. She made websites that changed the color of the shirt you were wearing, and websites that gave you 20/20 vision without permission. She even made a website that would give you good fortune whenever you visited (as long as your browser was a recent version of Firefox, Safari, or Opera). What will happen next for the happy, fortunate, and lucky Christina? Well read on to find out! I'm not going to tell you what's going to happen because that would give away the story goddamnit.

Jenny - Gridlock

Born in to a world of chaos and windmills, Jenny's youth was filled with disorganization and a lack of structure. She would sit down for a hearty breakfast of De Dutch waffles and goats milk, only to spend the entire morning contemplating the unevenness of the grids in her waffle. At such a young age, she simply didn't understand why anyone would allow such aesthetic atrocities to occur. Once old enough to leave home, she set out on a journey to 'straighten' things out. Her hunt for a world where good grids existed, landed her in the Electronic Media Design Program - a place where she found that while not everything is perfectly aligned, she could learn the skills and study under great design masters to take matters into her own hands. She has been trained. She has the knowledge. She is ready to grid it up.

Weave - Kid Cleveland

By far the most immature person in town, young Cleveland would run about attempting to entertain tourists with his perverse dances. Realistically this never would have stopped, if it hadn't been for the stern intervention of the local chapter of the YMCA. Throughout the following year Kid Cleveland learned various proprietary martial art techniques, combining them with his unparalleled physical strength and charisma. Through this process he crafted a fantastic alibi, tricking people into thinking he'd gone to Langara to study design.

Andro - Android

Andro Atienza was your average Langara student: happy, quiet, and attractive. He would spend hours upon hours crafting his potent HTML potions so that they might reunite families and bring back the dead. But on one cold July morning Andro was sent to the GDC headquarters for emergency treatment. He had worked so hard that he ceased to be human at all! He had become, ironically, a computer himself! Fortunately the GDC were able to rebuild him somewhat. They booted up a copy of "Gigantic Leopard" (due for release 2013) and set up Parallels so that he could switch between awesome robot designer and regular human. Now Andro is better than ever--at the drop of a hat he turns from the attractive Andro into the unstoppable Android!
Take note, child, this designer is here to save us all.

Carolyn - Valley Girl

Have you ever felt the cold creeping darkness of fear overwhelm you in the night? Lying awake, unsure if the nightmare you just had was an illusion or the next chapter in the macabre story of your final hours? Have you heard the wind whispering your name just beyond the shadows, where you cannot see who is watching? Carolyn has experienced these things and more, in the name of what is good. Standing resolute, she fights against all the foes that society has forgotten. She walks the valley between what's good and evil, deep in the heart of terror.

Matt - Mongoose

If you ask anyone what makes Matt Frith who he is, they will tell you it's his love of exotic pets. Matt grew up in the rolling hills of Canada, where his family had a farm where they mostly did nothing, but every now and then they would sell an emu ride to a tourist. It was around this time that Matt first met his desert friend Sebastian...a mongoose. They would spend time together all day every day. They would talk about what movies they'd downloaded, what music they were listening too that they had downloaded, and which snakes they wished they could kill. These lazy summer days were some of the best that Matt ever experienced in his entire life, and when he finally managed to escape the burning wreckage of his family's farm without a penny to his name, he decided to make a book which collected the stories of him and Sebastian. He called the compilation "Mongoose".

Lizzy - Illist-strator

How long has Lizzy been the illist strator? Many theorists have debated this and no one is quite sure when it began, but all signspoint to a certain year--1965. Although Lizzy wasn't alive yet, it seems that there were a number of secret societies that recognized the need for a strator that could be ill at the same time. After decades of work and billions (if not millions) of dollars, Lizzy Nelson was born. Able to draw awesome drawings in a single bound, and be really good at Adobe Illustrator like a speeding locomotive. With all of these satisfying answers, there remains only one question.

Alex Leynes - The Concepticon

Faster than multicore CPU. More powerful than the typeface Impact. Able to design into the wee hours without coffee. "The Concepticon" lives life on the edge.One fateful day, on a trip to the outskirts of Vancouver, Alex a burgeoning designer, stumbled upon a chest buried in a hole in the ground. Prying off the lid, he discovered a collection of design spanning from the early Egyptian hierogylphs to modern day French Canadian posters. With no camera, or writing instruments to document his findings, he studied and dissected the pieces. Alex's brain instantly became infused with the power of the centuries of design history. Suddenly, ideas which used to take weeks to concieve, now only required milliseconds. Racing back to his office, Alex used his new found powers to save his clients projects from the sinister Papyrus, MS Wordart and certain doom. It was on this day that he decided he would no longer go by the name "Alex". From that day forward he would be known as the... "The Concepticon"!

Andrea - Fresh Cracked Awesome

Andrea Arnold likes to be healthy. She eats healthy food, drinks healthy drinks, and lives in a healthy house on a healthy street. You could say that Andrea had it all, except that you'd be wrong and you shouldn't say that because Andrea was troubled. No matter how healthy she was, it had no effect on her ability to use Photoshop. A pity. Until one day Andrea was in her kitchen, throwing things into a blender with abandon, and she discovered a recipe that gave her disturbing new Photoshop powers! Suddenly the pen tool was applicable to every situation, and lens flares everywhere! She also noticed that she could suddenly use several other fantastic Adobe products as if she'd taken a year-long intensive program at Langara. But what to call this beverage? She thought about the ingredients: eggs whites, mangosteen extract, a ken doll, and a heaping helping of soy sauce. She decided to call it Fresh Cracked Awesome, despite this

Graham - Babysitting Mysteries

It was just like any other night for Graham Hamilton--he would work on his stupid website while pretending to babysit the cat (that way he would be able to claim he was working all night, and justify the need for more pixy stix). While he was deciding what iPhone users would see if they went to his site, he heard a loud bang out in the backyard. This startled him so much! When he went out back to see what was wrong, he was bemused to find a chest of gold coins partially buried in the ground. When he stepped out the front door to investigate, he almost tripped over a trapdoor that had been recently placed in the lawn as well. This was all very startling, but Graham decided he should press on and find out what was going on. Some of the things he ended up seeing on his adventure were: a ghost, a mummy, a lizard, and a rib. His cat also came along as his sidekick and he can talk I forgot to mention.
